Studio Policies – reopening end of June
With the Alberta government’s recent announcement that fitness studios could reopen as of June 12th, here are the studio’s updated policies (all are subject to change, as provincial guidelines may change). Client safety and wellness remain our main priorities as we return to the studio.
Initially, a limited number of Private one-on-one sessions will be offered in studio. Duet sessions will continue to be offered online or outside weather permitting. Online sessions remain an ongoing option for those who prefer to continue working out from home.
As recommended by Alberta Health, a screening questionnaire will be sent out the day before your session. If by answering any of the questions you are no longer able to come to your session, the 24-hour cancellation policy will be waived.
There will no longer be shared mats or small accessories in the studio. Some of you already have an at-home workout kit with small props, which we will be updating and making available to all new and current clients. All you will have to do is bring your “bag of tricks” with you to your sessions. The added bonus is that you will also be able to use your props at home, wherever, whenever!
We are working on sourcing additional covered straps/loops for the Reformer/Cadillac. We currently have enough sets to ensure that a freshly laundered set of loops will be available for each client session.
Client Care/Studio Cleaning:
Please bring a pair of grip socks, a towel (to lay over the platforms) your bag of props, and a water bottle.
Please dress in layers – studio windows will be open to allow for maximum airflow.
Hand sanitizer will be provided for use before and after your session. You are welcome to bring your own if you would like.
Masks are not required, but can be worn if you feel more comfortable. If you would like me to wear one, please let me know in advance. Two metres distancing will be maintained, and no hands-on cueing or corrections will be given.
All safety and cleaning guidelines recommended by Alberta Health (linked here) will be followed. All surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned in between clients.
